Thrive - Concept Motorbike
The Concept.
With ever-increasing congestion on city roads and rising fuel prices, commuters are progressively looking to new ways of travel. Among these is transportation by bike and motorbike. The ‘Thrive’ is a concept motorbike proposed for 2015. The engine is a hybrid which runs both on petrol, for long-distance travel and electricity for inner-city commuting. The proposed design is a single-seated motorbike which is focused mainly for recreative riding and enjoyment by its owner. The high-performance superbike makes quite a statement with unique aesthetic styling and design cues. It pushes aesthetic boundaries whilst ensuring an efficient green vehicle design.
- The seat, engine and bodycover have a sleek and clean look which conceals the majority of the mechanical parts. The body is constructed mainly out of carbon-fiber and aluminum to keep the entire weight minimal.
