Description
‘ Music through touchless interaction’
Team project together with Olaf Corduwener, Joeri Oomen and Martijn Kelderman.
The project was a follow up of an earlier project for the ‘Klankspeeltuin’ (sound playground). Goal was to further develop the concept of making music through a touchless interaction and implement it in a high quality functional prototype.
Result is SONO, a large interactive sculpture that enables people to modulate sound effects using gestures within a 3-dimensional area above one of the three goblets. Additional feedback on the hand position is provided by light effects.
