  • The idea behind One Line was to create furniture from one continuous line. This was done simply by shaping a metal sheet through curving and bending until the design was just right. Cushions can be used for padding in any fabric or leather of your choice. Primarily designed for public spaces, the simple design can also be used in any modern home.

  • Maxim Maximov is a Russian a furniture designer whose latest design recently won first place in a recent Russian design competition (Perm furniture) whose judges included Ross Lovegrove, Vadim Kibardin, and Oscar Zieta.

    Comments judges:

    Ross Lovegrove: Steel boxes with soft cushions. Not totally comfortable but I like the mix of materials and the low cost production technologies in unison. I find them refreshingly clean and they look like they could exist......I feel theres a lot to do with folded steel sheet in the way that Konstantin Grcic or Jean Prouve would design.....colours are good and the presentation excellent    .

    Vadim Kibardin: In my opinion - the best project competition. The world level.
