Hi.lo is a wireless blood pressure system, simple and easy to use, just install the application on your smart phone, slide it open and the connection is instant!
I wanted a simple and slick design which excludes all the cuts and bindings. I replaced the commonly used velcro with a gripping material, thus achieving a smooth look and feel.
Because it's a medical device and people often get stressed on the thought that they have to use it, Hi.lo comes in different colors.
Green because it's a relaxing color, fun and flamboyant orange radiates warmth and energy, the color of ocean and the sky, blue is perceived as a constant in our lives, it invokes rest and can cause the body to produce chemicals that are calming.
White projects purity, cleanliness, and neutrality. Doctors use white coats we have to bring back that safety that the doctor gives us.
I wanted to make something that would look and feel more human. The fun thing about it is that it doesn't look like a medical device, that's a comforting fact for the people who use it.
