  • The architectural solution had to respond to numerous conditioning factors: its location opposite the Guggenheim Museum, the fact that it is work on an existing building as a result of different alterations, its structural conditions, its position between party walls, and its opposing façades. The architectural proposal had to maintain enough humbleness compared to its architectural surroundings, the museum and the architecture of the Ensanche, without relinquishing a personality defined by use and by the unmistakable desire to present a sincere and ambitious proposal while refraining from competing.
