Heath Nash talks about his new lamps during Vienna Design Week

October 17, 2008. South African designer Heath Nash—whose honeycomb-shaped Tyvek Anemone lamp for Artecnica debuted recently—was one of the guests of honor at Vienna Design Week, where he presented a new line of lamps made from recycled plastic bottles at the design store Habari. In the video above, he describes his inspiration for the project, his first new work since he completed the Anemone proposal more than a year ago. Nash was trained as a sculptor, but turned to craft upon his graduation from the University of Cape Town.
