MCSWEENEY’S ISSUE 28
Trend-setting San Francisco publisher McSweeney’s has long enjoyed a reputation for fresh book and magazine design, and issue 28 of the quarterly is no exception. A collection of eight fables designed in individual volumes by Elizabeth Kairys, the books are tiled two by two into paired grids and packed neatly inside a box; an original painting lies in between the layers. Our judges were charmed.
