THE LINING OF FORGETTING EXHIBITION CATALOG

Eric Heiman and Sophine Lim’s catalog for an art exhibit on memory mimics how memory flickers across our brains with multiple fonts, layered imagery, and a shifting grid. Perusing its full-bleed plates, occasional half-tone text, and melt-away text margins, Ernstberger first judged it “very 1990s,” but was quick to acknowledge its noteworthy layout.
